Dear Mountville Summer Swim families,

I hope this email finds you well and excited for the upcoming summer swim season! Despite the snow outside, the board is hard at work planning for another successful summer swim season! To that end, the swim board is thrilled to announce and introduce our newest addition to the coaching staff, and our next head coach, Karen Delle Donne.

Karen comes to us with an impressive background in competitive swimming and coaching, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our program. Most recently she started and built the Conestoga Country Club swim team into a competitive summer swim program. Her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment aligns perfectly with our values at Mountville.

We believe that Karen will be a fantastic asset to our swimmers, helping them develop their skills, building confidence in the water, and most importantly, fostering a love for swimming. Our shared goals for this coming season include structured practices focused on skill development, building a positive team culture, and ensuring strong communication with our swim families!

We look forward to providing an opportunity for everyone to meet Karen. We will be hosting a "Meet the Coach" event on April 20 and April 27 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM during the Open house at the Mountville Pool. This will be a great opportunity for both swimmers and parents to get to know Karen, ask questions, and share their goals for the season ahead.

We are excited about the positive impact that Karen will have on our swim team, and we look forward to a successful and fun-filled summer swim season under her guidance. Don't forget to tell your friends about how much fun you have swimming in the summer. Swim team is always better with friends!
